Connect Group

CONNECT GROUPS

Connect Groups are the most popular groups at Emmanuel. Each one includes 6 to 15 people and meets either in homes or at the church. These groups are inspired by the relational circles found in the New Testament, where community, discipleship, and care naturally happened through close-knit gatherings. Jesus formed a relational circle of 12 disciples in the Gospels (Luke 6:13). The church of Jerusalem in the Book of Acts met in relational circles from house-to-house (Acts 2:46). Most of our groups are “open” groups where first-time guests can be invited to any individual group session.

WE > ME
CONNECT GROUP SERIES

Join us for a special Connect Group Series, We > Me,”at every location of Emmanuel!

On Wednesday nights, we’ll be offering Super Groups designed to bring everyone together for meaningful connection and conversation. During this time, we will discover our new life in Christ, learn how to live in unity as God’s family, grow in our relationships, and stand firm in spiritual battles. We’re also excited to continue offering our regular Connect Groups and would love for you to be part of one. Take a moment to visit the Group Finder on this page to explore the options and discover the group that feels like the perfect fit for you.

Whether you’ve been part of Connect Groups before or this is your first time, we invite you to be part of this powerful Connect Group series. Let’s come together as Ephesians reminds us that life with Jesus and His people is always greater than life alone!

"REDWOOD FAITH" CONNECT GROUP RESOURCES

WHAT ARE CONNECT GROUPS?

We base our Connect Group Settings on the relational circles we see in the New Testament. Jesus formed a relational circle of 12 disciples in the Gospels (Luke 6:13). The church of Jerusalem in the Book of Acts met in relational circles from house-to-house (Acts 2:46). A typical Connect Group will be a gathering of 6-15 people. Most of our groups are “open” groups where first-time guests can be invited to any individual group session.
