The Kids Coordinator oversees the K to 2nd Grade in Emmanuel Kids ministry at the Spring Lake Park Location, ensuring it is carried out with excellence and in alignment with Emmanuel Christian Center’s mission and core values. This part-time role includes building and developing a leadership team, implementing Kids ministry best practices, and maintaining high standards of care and ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Emmanuel – K to 2nd Grade
Lead and empower Kids volunteers, building a relational team culture that reflects Emmanuel’s values and supports Spring Lake Park
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of Kids volunteers, ensuring every role is filled and emergencies are handled effectively.
Equip, train, and coach new and existing volunteers in alignment with Emmanuel Kids processes and procedures.
Actively recruit new Kids volunteers by connecting with parents and families, sharing opportunities to serve, and following up with interested individuals.
Curriculum & Resources
Prepare weekly lessons from Emmanuel Kids Curriculum and ensure all items related are ready to go for the services.
Ensure rooms are fully stocked, organized, and ready to provide a safe and welcoming environment.
Kids Ministry
Lead an engaging large-group experience for K–2 students, including teaching Bible lessons and creating an interactive environment that supports spiritual growth and participation.
Lead communication with parents, making sure they feel confident, supported, and well-informed about their child’s experience.
Develop and implement improvement or support plans for children’s development during services, keeping parents informed along the way.
Requirements:
Experience leading and developing volunteer teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for kids’ ministry and creating an atmosphere where kids can encounter God.
Strong interpersonal skills to guide and support parents with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
Provide a warm, welcoming presence that ensures families feel at ease and genuinely cared for.
Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a ministry, childcare, or related setting.

Participate in Kids team meetings and key development moments.
Some flexibility required for special events and holiday services.

The Facilities Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at
Emmanuel Christian Center. This role supports both daily facility upkeep and event-related setup
and teardown, while also assisting with light maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
• Facilities Assistants are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, floors, carpets,
windows, and general surfaces throughout the facility.
• Restock paper products and bathroom supplies and take out trash and recycling daily.
• Help set up and reset rooms for services, meetings, and events.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing door handles and
reporting major repair needs to the Director of Facilities.
• Assist with light outdoor tasks like cleaning entrances and other areas.
• Lock and unlock the building before or after operating hours.
• Follow all safety protocols when using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Facilities.
Requirements
• Must be able to do basic maintenance tasks like small repairs and use cleaning equipment
safely.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, move around for long periods, and set up or tear down
furniture for events.
• A high school diploma is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude.

they actively worship and serve.
